How Important Is The Wedding Gown?
We all know how important the bride's wedding gown is for the most celebrated event in her life as a woman. At the same time, we are also aware how difficult it is to choose among millions of different designs. We really don't have to go through all that trouble that much. In fact, we can do a lot of things to make our weddings gown extra special. It is definitely so much worth it than just standing there, doing nothing at all. Most of us would probably not want to go through all the stress to make sure our wedding gown would turn out perfectly, right?
Statistics show that 50 % of women prefer to buy their wedding gowns from well- known designers to be sure that they are the only ones to have the best during their big day. The other half actually doesn't care at all. When I say they don't care, they would not mind wearing something unbranded. In my opinion, it is way far more practical to go for unbranded wedding gowns during times like these when the economy is not doing well. It would be much more practical to spend on some other details than just spending too much for the dress.
I know that the wedding dress is probably one of the most anticipated details in the entire wedding ceremony. However, it does not stop there yet. The wedding dress is probably the first item on your list to take care of. Next would be the venue followed by the wedding reception details. You see, there are so much more to worry about than just the wedding dress alone. You might want to consider compromising some other details that you can go without at all. Unnecessary things such as diamonds on your gown can be scratched off your list. You may replace real diamonds with Swarovski crystals which are just as attractive as the real diamonds. Of course, don't over-do your wedding dress if you don't want to look like Lady Gaga's disco stick.
If you think a simple white dress will do, then by all means, go ahead and do so. During these days, less is more and just as always, the simpler, the better. You don't want to wear something really garb and end up not having a wedding reception anymore because the entire budget for the wedding celebrations went to you wedding gown. It would still be important to celebrate your wedding with a reception. This is the perfect time to eat and drink with the people who took the time to spend your most awaited day with you as a new couple.
Minus the garb wedding gown, you can definitely pull off with something really simple. If you really can't do without a little fancy wedding gown, I suggest that you have it custom-made. It can be cheaper a few hundred or thousand dollars as compared to a branded one which will cost you an arm and a leg. The wedding is about you, your new husband and everybody else around you. The wedding is not about the wedding dress at all.
